Dr. Audrey Flojo Colletti - Assistant Superintendent

Dear Octorara Community, 

I'm thrilled to be joining the Octorara Area School District on its mission to “Empower students to build successful futures.”  From what I've seen, this community is brimming with enthusiasm and a strong commitment to excellence in education, and I feel honored to be part of it.

For me, childhood should be a time of enriching experiences that create joyful memories and lay the foundation for lifelong learning. Throughout my career, I've held onto the belief that every student has the potential to make a positive impact on our world. As educators, it's our role to nurture curiosity, talent, and empathy, creating environments where learning is engaging and fun!

I see educators as guides to the future, tasked with fostering environments where discipline and the thrill of discovery go hand in hand. My approach emphasizes collaboration, using data to guide decisions, and creating safe, innovative spaces where both educators and students feel inspired.

As Assistant Superintendent, I'm dedicated to building strong connections within our community—students, teachers, staff, parents, families and community. I believe that each person should feel valued as integral to our shared success. By supporting teachers in their growth and encouraging leadership at all levels, we can build a district where excellence is at the heart of everything we do.

I'm eager to collaborate with all of you as we embark on this journey together. Let's work on implementing student-focused strategies, promoting visible learning practices, and providing standards-based education across all grades. By embracing flexible learning environments and recognizing the potential of every student, we'll enhance their educational experiences and prepare them for a world that's always evolving.
