AgConnect visits Kindergarten
On Friday, March 21, volunteers from Chester County Economic Development Council visited with our kindergarten students. Students listened to a a book called ‘The Soil in Jackie’s Garden’, learned how to care for a garden, understanding a plant life cycle, discovering the power of pollinators and the importance of composting.
KIDS Heart Challenge 2025
Students at the OPLC participated in the Kids Heart Challenge on March 20, 2025 . This is the 22nd year that the OPLC students have joined in on the fun. Over the years, OPLC families and friends have raised over $570,000. The OPLC is one of the top ten schools in the state of PA. The Kids Heart Challenge is sponsored by the American Heart Association educates students on living a heart healthy lifestyle, inspires students to engage in the mission of the American Heart Association and allows them to experience fun physical activity at school.
This year, the OPLC students raised $24,146.07 which is a school record.
Top earning Kindergarten class is Mrs. Solnosky's students with $1661.94 Top fundraiser in Kindergarten is Mateo Cortez with $832.72
Top earning 1st grade class is Ms. Kacsan's students with $2079.54 Top fundraiser in 1st grade is Carson Ravert with $1015.19
Top earning 2nd grade class is Mrs. Hillman's students with $4,254,29 (Highest class ever!). Top fundraiser in 2nd grade is Emerson Cook with $2,092.70
